Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems reserve the right to make variations to product without notice. Should this occur during the time of this quote, then an equivalent manufactured product by Solatube will be supplied in place of the product quoted. Supply of Goods herein described is subject to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. This claim is being made under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004. The following terms and conditions are hereby listed but are not limited to the following:
Quotation:
Electrical work is NOT included and the client is responsible to arrange these works should they be required for the operation of any electrically operated product quoted.
Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems reserve the right to increase pricing should any unforeseen cost be incurred or if Acceptance is outside the valid to date of this quote.
Your rights under consumer protection laws for any state or territory of Australia are not affected by any of these terms and conditions of sale and therefore all rights are reserved.
Trade clients:
Certification to the Australian Standard may be provided by upon completion of project.
Should private independent certification be required, additional charges will apply.
Unless stated, this quote does NOT include fire rating requirements. Should this be required, additional charges will apply. POA.
The information contained within this quote has been ascertained from information supplied by the client either from construction plans or site meetings, there for Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems take no responsibility for any errors or omissions as a result of this information.
Mechanical ventilation systems are designed to satisfy Australian Standard AS1668.s and alternative performance criteria of AS1668.2-2002.
Mechanical ventilation designed for horizontal application – It is the clients responsibility for preparing and location/positioning of external exit grilles, access hatches for motor and bulkheads where required.
Installation:
If unable to be present during installation: Whilst every care is taken during installation, Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems shall not be held liable for any claims, losses or damages whatsoever for incorrect or undesired placement of the installed system, if the exact desired positioning not be clearly marked on the ceiling prior to installation.
Whilst desired location may be marked on the ceiling, the exact location may differ slightly due to beams, trusses or any other obstacles in the roof cavity.
Rubbish Removal: The removal and disposal of pre-existing materials removed during installation or otherwise, including whirlybirds and existing skylights, will incur a waste disposal fee, where applicable.
Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems reserve the right to withhold title in the goods that are the subject of this document, until full and complete payment has been received and funds cleared by the financial institution withhold delivery or sale of any product should payment terms or trading arrangements that have been previously approved operate outside our company guidelines for trade accounts retrieve said goods from the premises to where the goods have been installed and repair the dwelling to a satisfactory condition as directed by a licensed builder should the goods remain unpaid outside the standard trading terms offered and all costs incurred in the repossession of the goods mentioned in this document shall be payable by the person/parties responsible for the installation
Warranty:
Warranty Service Calls: Should claimed damages, expressed or implied, not fall under Manufacturers Limited Warranty Conditions, a service call charge will be payable upon attendance to the site, regardless of work or repairs performed.
Product: For Warranty advice please refer to the Manufacturer Warranty paperwork/form included in the packaging & provided by either the Representative or mailed to you upon request.
Installation: Installation services carried out by Brisbane Skylights & Ventilation Systems will be covered by the relevant state legislation to where the product has been installed.
This is currently 7 years warranty from date of installation.
Painted Flashings: Flashings that have been coloured to match the roof colour will be covered by a 3yr warranty on the painting.
Maintenance: Concrete tile roofs will require regular maintenance of skylight flashing to remove any build up of leaves and debris.
