Tested and approved to Australian Standards
When installing VELUX Skylights in Brisbane that are 3m or higher above floor level, 2004 High-Performance glazing must be used to comply with Australian Standard AS 1288 (i.e. sloped overhead glazing must be laminated glass).
Building Code compliance
All VELUX Skylights/Roof Windows (except Sun Tunnels) are deemed non-combustible and thereby comply with BCA Fire Separation requirements i.e. suitable for use within 900mm of a boundary for buildings of Class 1 & 10 (typical residential dwelling)*.
